Everything on the ID Card
Interflex offers NetworkOnCard application: Intelligent identification chips integrate online and offline access control based on continuous updated access rights
Stuttgart/Essen, October 7, 2008. For business and economic reasons, it is appropriate for many companies to use network systems for access control at individual accesses and interconnections with state-of-the-art stand-alone closing systems. The required integration between online and offline security guarantees contact-free readable identifications as presented by Interflex Datensysteme GmbH & Co. KG with the NetworkOnCard application at this year's SECURITY in Hall 3, Stand 313. RFID cards advance as active security components in that with time bookings on online master terminals, they automatically download current access rights for the offline security accesses and automatically configure the offline components correspondingly.
In practice, the NetworkOnCard proves to be key to efficiently integrating the stand-alone component in comprehensive security solutions and at the same time to updating the access rights and validity of identifications responsively. For example, off-line rights can thus be limited, so that lost or stolen identification means can be blocked within seconds and no longer represent a security risk. At the same time, the technology creates the bases for documenting all non-networked access terminals such as PegaSys or E-cylinder at the latest level, to document their access procedures and to record important information regarding the charge status of your batteries.
